Emily LaPlant, Managing Editor

Senior Emily LaPlant has been on staff for three years and is one of the managing editors for 2020-2021. When LaPlant is not in the newspaper lab she can be found either on the tennis court, soccer field, or with her friends. Music is a big part of LaPlant's life, she enjoys listing to The Wallows, Mother Mother, Younger Hunger, and anything from the 90s'. LaPlant hopes to become a political journalist to voice her opinion on important matters in the real world and give a voice to those who don't have one. “I became a journalist to come as close as possible to the heart of the world.” — Henry Luce
