The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade occurs annually and streams across America. The parade is held in New York City, filling homes with the sounds of cheers and marching bands on TV.
“It is a tradition watching the parade, and seeing Santa Claus at the end is always fun,” English teacher Tim Laner said.
One of the biggest enjoyments about the parade is the giant balloons. Every year, new balloons are introduced into the parade. Buzz Lightyear, Shrek’s onion carriage, and Pac-Man.
“The balloons are fun to watch,” Government teacher Jeff Regier said. “The best part of the parade.”
NBC and Peacock are platforms to watch the parade live, starting at 7:30 a.m., with the parade rerunning throughout Thanksgiving Day, November 27th.
