Michaela Lord (11) is a second year staff member. Last year she wrote features, sports, and news stories. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, sleeping, or watching Netlfix. She is interested in healthcare and is currently taking Health Science III to get her CNA certification. In the future, she hopes to go to college and become a surgical nurse.

Members of the Oriole newspaper staff, Aubrey Stueven (12) and Gracie Johnston (12) upload pictures to Johnston’s story, “Students enjoy classes with favorite teachers,” while Jaden Laing (11) works on his story, “Student teacher joins science department”. Half the staff works on stories while the other half creates Tweets, posts Spotlights, and photo galleries.

Students gather together in the gymnasium to celebrate not being tardy during the No Tardy Party Jan. 17. Students are rewarded with ice cream and time to converse with friends.
