Paige Harrington is the 2019-2021 Editor-in-Chief of the Augusta Oriole. Outside of class, she enjoys reading journalism stories from other news sources and playing video games. In the future, she hopes to become a defense lawyer, and she believes that journalism is a good start in order to bring up her confidence.
Jaden Laing, Reporter
Senior Jaden Laing is a second year staff member. Laing has been wrestling for three years and qualified for state last year; plans on being a state champion. His love of wrestling has pushed him towards writing about sports. Though Laing enjoys writing about sports, this will not block him from broadening his horizons of news related topics. Before joining staff, Laing completed a 21st Century Journalism course in order to prepare him for a reporter position. Laing is excited to see his articles inform and educate.
