Tommie Schaffner:
Q: What does your family say about you being a homecoming candidate?
A: “My family has been congratulating me and they are happy for me.”
Q:What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “I would have superspeed if I had a superpower.”

Q: Why do you think you became a candidate for homecoming?
A: “I think it is because I am involved in a lot of stuff.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “I would pick teleportation because I could teleport to anywhere.”

Q: Why do you think you became a homecoming candidate?
A: “ I try to involve everyone in everything and try to be nice as possible.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A:“I would read people’s minds if I had a superpower because you wouldn’t have to read emotions.”

Q: What does your family say about you being a candidate for homecoming?
A: ”My dad said it must run in the family because he was a candidate.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “I would like to be like superman because I could have all the superpowers and I would be unstoppable.”

Q: Why do you think you are a homecoming candidate?
A: “I think I put myself out there as well as possible.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “I would like to have superspeed as my superpower because if I want a subway sandwich, boom, I would have one.”

Q: What does your family say about you being a candidate?
A: “My sister was a candidate and she had said a joke.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “If I could choose my superpower it would be to copy other people’s powers.”

Charlize Lichlyter:
Q: What was going on when you found out you are a candidate for homecoming?
A: ”When I found out I was a homecoming candidate, I was in my first block in Mr. Terry’s advanced lifelong class. I am the only girl in my class and Mr. Rivera read the candidates off on the announcements. I wasn’t even listening and didn’t hear my name until all the boys congratulated me. I was so happy to not only be able to represent the tennis team but to just be chosen by my senior class. Being chosen by my peers had allowed me to recognize my leadership and outgoing personality traits.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “I would choose to be the smartest person ever.”

Avery Riedel:
Q: Why do you think you became a candidate?
A: “I think I became a candidate because I have been involved in clubs and I am in Friends of Freshman and that definitely helped.”
Q: What would your superpower be if you had one?
A: “I would want to read minds if I had a superpower”
