Advanced chemistry students stand in front of science teacher Ericka Richardson’s lab table after performing their experiments for elementary students. The magic show took place April 4 from 11 a.m to noon in Richardson’s classroom.

During the play “TellTale” Michela Hughes (12), Noah Rye (10) and Owen Frizell’s (10) characters sing over the corpse of Sam Dudek’s (11) character. The play was about the life of author Edgar Allen Poe.

Advanced chemistry students Josh Woodsmall (11) and Calvin Spellman (11) join together to spark up the room with their experiment for elementary students. They had worked on their experimentation all semester.

Freshmen students visit Butler Community College to find out what the school offers. They were told about the different options for college classes while in high school as well as the Academies Butler offered. “I would consider going to Butler because it’s cheap, and I have no money,” Porsha Zweifel (9) said.

Members of the freshman class tour the Butler Community College campus April 3. Freshmen went to Butler April 3 and 4 based on when their English class met. Current Butler students took four different groups around campus.
