Some people in this world are born to teach and English teacher Austyn Suddeth is one of those people.
Suddeth finds inspiration from other teachers when decorating.
“A lot of my stuff for decorating actually came from Miss Haynes, the other stuff I’ve just collected over the years,” Suddeth said.
Teaching was an interest for most of her life.
“Teaching has always been in my blood, I’ve always had an interest in helping other people and teaching other people. When I had the opportunity to go to college, I chose education, and I haven’t regretted it,” Suddeth said.
Although Suddeth is new to Augusta, this is not her first year teaching kids.
“I’ve been working with kids since I was fresh out of high school,” Suddeth said. “I’ve had some experience teaching at Curtis Middle School, as well as at the elementary level.”
Suddeth runs her class a certain way that fits her teaching style.
“I like to have structure in my class and organization for it to make sense for me and my students,” Suddeth said.
