Senior newspaper members reflect on high school years: Alyssa Ferrell
Looking back on freshman year, I would have never thought this is where I would be. When I think back on high school, I think about all of the great friends, sports meets and crazy football games. I also think about all the late nights, lost friends and stressing out about tests, but I wouldn’t change a thing. High school has taught me so many lessons that I will carry with me wherever I end up.
Over the years, I have tried many new things like cross country, track and newspaper. All of these have taught me different lessons and made new friends who have affected my life in a positive way. Some of my favorite memories are from sports and the bonds that were created like running across an entire field just to support your team, or leaving for a meet and all of the guys blasting “California girls” through the bus.
After high school, I will be moving out and attending Butler for two years then Pitt State after that to finish my degree for physical therapy. Hopefully in the meantime, I will have an assistant job close to physical therapy until I have a degree.
The one thing I will never forget about high school is to always be yourself and do what makes you happy.
This is senior Alyssa Ferrell's third year on staff. She enjoys seeing her friends, working, and volleyball.
