The AHS Barbershop put on a fundraiser of Valentine’s sing-a-grams this year. Buyers got to choose from four songs: Baby Face, Bushel and a Peck, Let Me Call You Sweetheart and I Love You Truly. The recipients received getting sang to by the Barbershop members, as well as a rose and a bag of candy. Freshman Megan Ashenfelter spoke on how it felt getting sang to, and sophomore Collin Jansen talked about how much fun he had singing love songs to people.

Senior Maddie Smart is a third year reporter for the Oriole, and this is her first year as a Co-Editor. Outside of the newspaper room, Smart is involved in Spanish Club and National Honors Society. When not at school, she can be found hanging out with Adrian Walker, at the cheer gym either cheering or coaching or at home working on her jewelry business. Smart also loves her two dogs, Boomer and Blaze who are very hyper and love to play catch.
