State tournament, Semi-final game photo gallery

After riding in two separate spirit buses, members of the O’s Zone hold up their handmade posters. After winning against Chapman, they returned to Tony’s Pizza Event Center the following Saturday to face Kansas City Piper.

The Orioles take place on the floor to start the semi-final game. Head boys basketball coach Jake Sims lead the team to victory over Chapman.

Sydnee Kuhn, Reporter

Senior Sydnee Kuhn, was on the staff for Clear Lake Reflections newspaper at her old school in Texas, this is her third year on the Augusta high school newspaper. She has been a part of the newspaper community for four years. Kuhn wants to gain more skill in photography and writing. Outside of the school, Sydnee enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. In addition, she likes reading books when she gets a chance. She tries to write and take pictures as much as possible. Sydnee looks forward to pursuing her dream on the newspaper staff.

Bailey Pennycuff, Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief Bailey Pennycuff (12) has been a part of The Oriole staff since second semester of her freshman year. She has come a long way from where her journalistic journey began. From 21st Century Journalism class her freshman year, to being Editor-in-Chief her junior and senior year. Pennycuff participated in volleyball (freshman and sophomore years); cross country (junior year); tennis (senior year); basketball (freshman, sophomore and junior years); and softball (all four years). Some goals in her life are to play college softball, and eventually obtain a masters degree to be a licensed bereavement psychologist.
